Kyle Wurtzel's competitive racing career began in 2006 when he started racing a nostalgia nitro funny car. Kyle's car was the second in the Midwest to break the five second barrier. At the time, only a few cars in the United States had achieved that ET. Kyle spent 5 plus years at well known nostalgia events serving as a crew chief, owner, driver, and working in car maintenance.
In 2010, Kyle decided to move up to top fuel racing. With the help of Bruce Litton, Kyle was able to get licensed and run the car at a few match races his first year out.
Kyle would like to especially thank his wife, Dr. Julia Porter, his daughter, Brooklyn Wurtzel, Mike Wolfarth, Bruce Litton, Bobby and Dom Lagana, Phil Stuart, Nick Shultz, Ron Douglas, Brett Konken, Jeff Konken, Randy Heintzelman, Tony Biffer, and his family and friends who have supported him as he has progressed through his racing career.
We are currently seeking sponsors for the car. Only serious inquiries, please. Email juliakayporter81 at gmail.com for more information.
